1. Role/Purpose
The role of Quality Committee is to strengthen the management of teaching processes and teaching resources, and to establish and improve the teaching quality assurance system. Through these processes, the Quality Committee seeks to strengthen the central position of teaching within the University through the normalization, and systemization of long-term teaching quality monitoring.
2. Term of Office
The responsibility will be effective from the release of announcement document and will last until the termination of the agreement between the two sides.

4. Roles and Responsibilities
The Quality Committee is responsible for the following affairs:
(1) Closely focus on the University orientation and application-oriented student education goals, establish quality standards, track the teaching operation process, adopt effective monitoring and evaluation methods, accurately collect and analyse quality information, and carry out various teaching and management tasks. Provide comprehensive assessments in order to improve the quality of teaching.
(2) Follow the laws of higher education teaching, establish the concept that "the development of the University is based on teachers, and teaching is based on students", and form a teaching quality guarantee mechanism that encourages teachers to promote the comprehensive development of the students.
(3) The University teaching quality assurance system is divided into three levels: university level, secondary school (department) level and teaching team level. All of these are based on the input of quality standards as the starting point and the development of conditions as the guarantee, with the purpose to improve the quality of teaching, so as to build a closed-loop guarantee system in which all teachers and students participate in the whole process and all aspects. (4) Closely focus on the teaching quality assurance goals, innovate the quality control subjects, quality control methods, information feedback methods, etc., and gradually build a quality assurance system that integrates within and beyond the University.
(5) Evaluate the design and implementation of assessments and quality assurance of assessment grading and grade reporting.
(6) Ensure the implementation of quality assurance policies, practices and protocols required for UK validation in order.
5. Meeting
All meetings will be chaired by Zhou Qing, the director of Teaching Supervision Office
The quorum for the meeting is 34 quality committee members. (100% member attendance is required.)
The meeting agendas and minutes will be provided by Liu Jiangying (Teaching Supervision Office), which includes preparing the agendas and supporting documents and preparing meeting minutes and information.
The meetings will be held once a month in the Conference Room of the Administration Building.
6. Amendment, Modification or Change
The terms of reference can be amended, modified or changed in writing after consultation and approval by the members of the Quality Committee.
The Quality Committee of the JXUT was established in June, 2018
