Curriculum Development Committee

1. Role/Purpose

The function of Curriculum Development Committee is to further improve the scientific management of the curriculum setting, to dynamically adjust the curriculum according to current data and evolutions in best practice, and to strengthen the curriculum management and curriculum development.


2. Term of Office

The responsibility will be effective from the release of announcement document and will last until the termination of the agreement between the two sides.


3. Members (Last revision: June, 2020)

The professional committee will be composed of the following persons:

4. Roles and Responsibilities

The Curriculum Development Committee is responsible for the following affairs:

(1) Review the feasibility study, training objectives, training plan and internship training curriculum documents and materials of the newly established majors.

(2) Organize researches on major construction, reform and development, and put forward suggestions, opinions and development plans for student education goals, student education models and adjustments to major settings.

(3) Regular professional consultation seminars are held to study and discuss the new development, new trends and new topics of the University’s majors in the local economic development, as well as advices and suggestions from industries and enterprises on major setting, student education models, curriculum setting, teaching content, practical teaching and major teaching reform, etc., and put forward improvement measures.


5. Meeting

All meetings will be chaired by Chen Hui (Director, Academic Affairs Office).

The quorum for the meeting is 16 committee members. (100% member attendance is required.)

The meeting agendas and minutes will be provided by Chen Hui, which includes preparing the agendas and supporting documents and preparing meeting minutes and information.

The meeting will be held once a month in the Meeting Room of the North Administration Building.


6. Amendment, Modification or Change

The terms of reference can be amended, modified or changed in writing after consultation and approval by the members of the Curriculum Development Committee.



The Curriculum Development Committee of the JXUT was established in 2005
