At 4:00 p.m, June 18, 2021, Jiangxi University of Technology held the 2021 undergraduate degree awarding and evaluation meeting, which was presided over by Vice President Ma Yong and attended by 17 members of the Degree Committee.

(1)There were 4,277 fresh undergraduates. According to Article 4 of the Measures of Jiangxi University of Technology for Awarding Bachelor's Degree to Ordinary Undergraduate Graduates (Measures for Awarding Bachelor’s Degree), they can be granted bachelor's degree and issued bachelor's degree certificate after meeting the relevant standards and being approved by the Degree Committee;
(2)A total of 4,158 people have obtained the graduation qualification, and the graduation rate was 97.2%, which was the same as that of last year. 44 people did not meet the requirements of bachelor's degree award, and the proportion of degree award was 96.19%;
(3)According to Article 5 of Measures for Awarding Bachelor’s Degree, a total of 41 students applied for reconsideration of bachelor's degree (including 29 former students), of which 27 passed the exams, 4 failed the exams, and 10 were in doubt;
(4)If more than two-thirds of the people agree to vote on the materials in question list, the bachelor's degree would be granted.

2. Li Wei, Deputy Director of Degree Committee, summarized the work of the Academic Committee in 2020 on behalf of the Academic Committee, and puts forward the main points of work in 2021. Wang Taotao proposed that to do a good job in scientific research, we should grasp the three key words of "combination", "focus" and "breakthrough", achieve the combination of disciplines, teams and mechanisms inside and outside the university, focus on discipline development and professional development, break through the inherent talent training and achievement training mode, and further enhance the ability of discipline construction and professional construction.

In order to report the mid term teaching inspection and the second review of the final exams inspection, the supervision of classroom teaching in 5-12 weeks, the summary of a series of teaching activities of the open course "Ideological and political education" and the students' Forum in the second semester of 2020-2021 academic year, and further improve the teaching quality and school running level, the supervision department organized the "monthly talk" meeting.
Zhou Qing, Director of the Teaching Supervision Office, made a report on the mid semester teaching inspection, 5-12 week classroom teaching quality monitoring, student seminars and two series of teaching activities of "Ideological and Political Courses". This mid-term teaching exams will last three weeks from May 17, 2021 to June 4, 2021. In this semester, we carried out two series of interactive teaching of "Ideological and Political Courses" in the academic lecture hall. After reporting their mid-term teaching inspection and lectures, the teaching supervisors put forward the following opinions and suggestions to improve the teaching quality.
Each teaching unit should standardize the scoring standard of the usual record book, and it is suggested to adopt a unified hundred point system.Teachers should strengthen the preparation before class, correct the teaching attitude, establish a good image of teachers, truly teach and educate people, be a teacher, and learn as a model. To strengthen the design and production of courseware, we should make a reasonable layout in the text layout, color matching, font size and other details, so as to improve the teachers' courseware production level. At the meeting, he said that today we will mainly listen to the results of the preliminary research and other basic work of the colleges on the revision of the undergraduate and junior college talent training programs.
